Prevention is at the heart of the clinic’s work. Since 2008, the team has worked with educational institutions and healthcare organisations to raise awareness of oral health in the community, alongside the advice given to every patient in the chair.
What we cover
- Brushing technique, how often to brush and how to choose a toothbrush.
- Cleaning between teeth with floss or interdental brushes.
- How sugary food and drinks cause tooth decay, and simple changes that help.
- Caring for children’s teeth from the first tooth onwards.
- Recognising early signs of gum disease and decay.
For patients and families
Every visit includes advice tailored to your teeth. Parents are welcome to ask how to help children brush and how to make check-ups a positive experience.
For schools and organisations
If your school, workplace or organisation is interested in an oral health awareness session, contact the clinic to discuss it.
This page is general information, not a diagnosis. The dentist will recommend treatment after examining you.
